Body Lift Kits are not for all Jeeps, these can only be installed on Jeeps with separate chassis and body. Will NOT work on Jeep Cherokee since they have unibody.
Concept behind body lift is simple; it is basically lifting the body away from main frame by adding bigger spacers. Many Jeeper add Suspension Lift Kit on Jeeps along with body lifts. On a Jeep CJ or Wranglers 2 inch Suspension Lift Kit along with 1 inch Body Lift Kit will easily clear 33×12.50 tires.
From what we have seen over the years, safe bet is not to go over 2 inch body lift. Some expert are also okay with 3 inch lift. Remember the higher you go, more modification will be required which will mean more money.
