On Jan 11th, 2016 Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne confirms next-gen Jeep Wrangler will finally, offer a pickup variant, right from the factory. This is exciting news becasue in 2005 Jeep introduced the "Jeep Gladiator Concept" vehicle and then again in 2012 another concept vehicle called the "J-12 Concept"; but never pulled the trigger on a production model.

That all changes in 2017. The CEO confirmed the arrival of Wrangler Truck and also shared that both the standard Jeep Wrangler JK and the pickup truck will be built in the Toledo, Ohio facility where the current Wrangler is assembled.  Jeep fans will have to wait little longer since the Wrangler pickup will not arrive until late 2017. There has been no information on the pickup other than it will be coming and be built in Toledo.
