Ford F-Series pickup trucks have come a long way since they were first introduced in 1948. For the past 33 years F-Series held its title for being the Best-Selling truck in the United States. In Fall 2016 Ford is gearing up to offer highly inticipated 2017 F-150 Raptor.
Raptor fans are exciting about 2017 Raptor arrival. For the first time this model will feature high strength, military-grade, aluminum body which will make this truck approximately 500 pounds lighter compared to previous models. Aside from dropping several hundreds pounds this truck is also getting all-new twin-turbo, intercooled DOHC 24-valve high-output 3.5L EcoBoost engine with direct fuel injection. This translates into more than 411 Horsepower. And a 10- speed automatic transmission with manual-shifting mode sends that incredible power to all four wheels. Other major changes include a driver-adjustable terrain management system, larger remote reservoirs for the Fox shocks, additional suspension travel and a true dual-exhaust system.
2017 F-150 Raptor will be improved in nearly every respect, however fans should not expect a complete makeover atleast this time around. Although Ford didn't release any pricing for the new truck; however industry experts believe starting price will be around $46,000.
