Rock Hard 4x4 Ultimate Sports Cage, CJ8 Scrambler, 1979-86 works with Hard Top or Soft Top.

This is the main Sports Cage which includes a rear hoop that fastens to the Jeep CJ8 Scrambler factory bar threw the same hole in the hard top as the shoulder belt mounts. All Sport Cages are complete bolt-in, you do not remove any of the factory sport cage to install our unit! This means no drilling, no welding. Fits half cab and full hard tops and soft tops.

Features:

All connections to the Jeep CJ8 Scrambler factory bars are with ?" thick CNC machined clamping collars, with six- 5/16 x 1" grade 8 socket head cap screws. All tubing is 1-3/4 x .120 wall. Rear hoop mounts to the 4 bolts at the lower corner inside the cab. Note the clean looking clamping collars!

The Sport Cage does not affect the Jeep CJ8 Scrambler factory windshield mounting, sun visors or top latches. The windshield can still be folded down by removing the top 2 bolts at the dash brackets. Sun visors can be moved in about 1-1/2" and remounted allowing normal use.
